The starting point of this work are inconspicuous food networks. The paint is applied with the airbrush technique: ceramic pigments are sprayed through the fine net structure onto the still unfired porcelain domes.

Thanks to this procedure, the pattern that envelops the half-shell takes on lively and sensual features.

After a basic year of studies in art at the AUB in Bournemouth, England, Diane Häfner continued her studies at the Merz Akademie in Stuttgart. After her Bachelor's degree in "Visual Communication" in the spring of 2017, Diane Häfner decided to cross-entry the diploma course at the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Offenbach with a focus on sculpture.
