The vessel Double Shot with two drinking cups for serving schnapps is cast out of high-quality
porcelain and has a transparent glaze in a puristic style. Here the attention is focused on the design.
It should enable the simultaneous pouring of the matching cups. In the style of Asian drinking
culture, the sharing of a digestif such as sake and other spirits should be emphasized and encourage
communication. 

Mary Manalo was born in 1985 in Manila in the Philippines and is an aspiring graduate artist at the
Hochschule für Gestaltung in Offenbach am Main. In 2018 Mary Manalo's Double Shot was awarded
the third Rundgang Prize of the Cultural Foundation of the House of Hesse, Eichenzell under the
motto 'Table Culture'.
