The porcelain-workshop

From the traditional production of porcelain from the natural raw materials kaolin, quartz and feldspar, as well as from the first artistic design to the finished masterpiece, many steps are required that can only be carried out with particular experience and sensitivity in our workshops.
It is the careful shaping by hand of the individual artist, which gives each piece a special quality and fascination. This is how manufactory porcelain of the highest exclusivity is created.

Our philosophy

To make those things beautiful and exclusive, which are not superficially visible, is part of the philosophy of the Höchster Porzellan-Manufaktur 1746.

Artisanal, traditional workmanship is still of vital importance today, because only that guarantees the ultimate achievement in exclusivity and sophistication.

Our manufactory porcelain is something that can only be produced with special sensitivity. This diligence is the reason for the strict selection of our raw materials, because to this day we use only natural, traditional materials such as kaolin, feldspar and quartz for the production of our fine manufactured porcelain.

Every exhibit of the Höchst Porzellan-Manufaktur 1746 is an expression of craftsmanship, tradition, aesthetics and individuality - signs of a style that is not determined by daily trends, but shapes time in its own way.

Tradition and experience

The "white gold" from Höchst is being built today in the new porcelain yard at the Höchst Stadtpark. Here, visitors can experience the fascination of traditional porcelain production up close and get to know the entire artisan production of the Höchster Porzellan-Manufaktur 1746 as part of public or private guided tours.

The porcelain yard was built in 1906. The impressive industrial building is under heritage protection law and today houses all workshops for the production of the highest porcelain.

Porcelaine Painting

For the quality of craftsmanship and the aesthetics of the Höchst Porcelain, the traditional hand painting, which is still cultivated in the manufactory today, is of fundamental importance. Whether traditional Höchster decors or decors in a modern design: they are mastered to the utmost perfection by the artists of the Höchster Porzellan-Manufaktur 1746.

Even commissions, such as the production of limited special editions (artist series) are a constant challenge of our talented porcelain painters.
